Dux-Soup + Zapier = A Match Made in Heaven!

This article is now out of date. Check out our latest article covering the Dux-Soup and Zapier integration details.

With our Turbo and Cloud plans, we offer Webhooks free of charge. Using Webhooks you can link Dux-Soup to over 1000 different applications via Zapier! This blog post will cover the main info about Dux-Soup and Zapier and how you can connect two applications with the help of Webhooks, so keep on reading.

(We also have direct integrations with the more popular CRMs including Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive, Freshsales, Lead Gen & CRM, Woodpecker, Leadfuze and more. Check out our Dux-Soup integrations list).

What is Zapier?

Zapier is a tool that allows you to connect apps you use every day to automate tasks and save time. You can connect any of 1,000+ integrated apps together to make your own automations. What's more it's quick and easy to set up - you don't need to be a developer, anyone can make a Zap!

What is a Zap?

Simply speaking, a “Zap” is a task that you want to be performed over and over again. For example, you can “add every profile visited by Dux-Soup to Zoho CRM”. The first part of the request is the “Trigger”, and the second - the “Action”.

When you create a Zap, Zapier will automatically check the trigger for new data every few minutes and when the Zap triggers, Zapier performs and action.

What is a Trigger?

A Trigger is the event that starts a Zap. For example, if you want to add every profile visited on LinkedIn to Zoho,  “new LinkedIn profile” will be a trigger.

What is an Action?

An Action is the event that a Zap performs. Following the example mentioned above, if you want to add every visited LinkedIn profile to Zoho, “adding new contact to Zoho” will be the “Action” in this case.

Dux-Soup + Zapier

As mentioned earlier, the Turbo and Cloud Editions offer Webhooks which is a unique feature that no other 3rd party LinkedIn app has! You can easily use Webhooks on Zapier to connect LinkedIn with another external web application.  If we take the example mentioned above (add every visited LinkedIn profile to Zoho CRM), we can easily create a workflow where we connect LinkedIn data to your Zoho CRM. The Webhooks app will be the trigger app in this case.

Just to give you some idea what apps Zapier supports, here are some of the most popular integrations:

Webhooks + Zoho CRM

Webhooks + Google Sheets

Webhooks + Slack

With the help of Webhooks, you can “export” LinkedIn data to an external app which means you do not have to download the data and import it to your CRM after visiting the profiles with Dux-Soup. Now it can be done much quicker, with data being sent in “real time” as profiles are visiting, and save you more productive time!
