MedSelfEd created a vast number of patient education videos for different medical centers.  John used AI to create SEO-optimized headlines, descriptions, emojis, relevant keywords and hashtags for optimal engagement.

A core LinkedIn campaign targets people responsible for informing patients about surgical operations and post-procedure care.

John uses a sophisticated query on ChatGPT to scrape LinkedIn data at scale.  He sees ChatGPT as a data miner and has honed AI prompts to return data from LinkedIn that matches certain criteria, such as country, job title, and keywords, in this case, patient education.

ChatGPT scrapes the data into a spreadsheet with columns for name, email address, company name, and the first 1000 characters from their profile on LinkedIn.  John admits,

In the last 3 years, I have amassed 100,000 prospect records with relatively little effort.

For any given campaign, he builds the target list by taking data that matches the ideal customer profile.  A quick bit of data cleaning, e.g. to focus on c-suite decision-makers in patient education, and the list can be uploaded to Dux-Soup and enrolled straight into a campaign.

John adds, “I also love the visit feature in Dux-Soup, it gives me the ability to enhance prospect records with a deeper layer of information.”

10 stage drip campaign

John crafts the messaging to match the campaign such as a high level introduction campaign or building newsletter subscriptions.  He explains,

The message builder in Dux-Soup is brilliant for quickly putting together multi-stage campaigns.  I have dyslexia, so I use ChatGPT to help craft compelling messaging.

Here is the messaging sequence for one of his campaigns:

1.     Visit a profile.

2.     2 days later follow the profile.

3.     23 hours later send a connection request.

4.     1 hour after connecting, send follow up message #1, asking if certain videos might be useful to share with the prospect’s patients. There is no attempt to sell - it’s about engagement and building trust.

5.     7 days later, send follow up message #2 offering access to further educational videos which can be shared with patients.

6.     7 days later visit the profile again.

7.     1 hour later endorse the top 3 skills for that profile.

8.     1 hour later send follow up message #3 which offers to share the most popular patient education videos.

9.     7 days later send follow up message #4 which offers a customized video with the prospect’s logo and offers social proof via a link to a testimonial page.

10.  7 days later send follow up message #5 with a final offer to receive a free video that can be shared with their patients from any of the other medical centers of excellence.

Multi-channel campaigns

MedSelfEd uses the native integration between Dux-Soup and the Pipedrive CRM to record every message, campaign and contact.  John has a series of automations set up in Pipedrive, so for example, when a Dux-Soup campaign gets a positive response, the campaign is paused, and it triggers a series of emails from Pipedrive:

1.     The first email contains a link to the video requested by the prospect.

2.     The second email simply asks ‘Did you have a chance to look at the video yet?’.

“When I get a hit from the outreach campaign, I can move the conversation off LinkedIn and into a more personal one-to-one conversation using email,” adds John.
