Phoenix Studios

Phoenix Studios, a bright and innovative UK-based branding agency, has always acknowledged the power of LinkedIn for business growth and brand recognition.

Understanding its excellent potential for networking with both new and existing contacts, sharing experiences and recruiting clients as well as employees, the agency wanted to scale its LinkedIn outreach activity and adopt a passive approach to enhancing its credibility in the market.

Enlisting the help of an agency that could develop their LinkedIn strategy and run all of their activity, Phoenix Studios developed three core objectives:

  1. Raise the visibility of the brand
  2. Grow engagement of their company page and company posts
  3. Increase their network with high-quality, industry-specific connections and thought leaders
The agency chosen was experienced in offering done-for-you LinkedIn lead generation services. With an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Dux-Soup, they were immediately able to propose time and cost-saving techniques to achieve these objectives faster and at a lower cost.

Work began immediately.

The strategy

Working with one of the Director’s LinkedIn accounts, the strategy was as follows:

Step 1: Grow connections with senior decision makers in the food and drink industry, where Phoenix Studio had just completed a successful rebrand project. In this case, target prospects were those responsible for company branding, marketing or strategy.

Two different approaches were used:

  1. Targeting exhibitors from the industry event where the client had launched the rebranded product
  2. Using a Sales Navigator list to identify and target the key decision makers

Campaigns were created using Dux-Soup Turbo, which meant that personalized connection requests could automatically be sent and followed up with further responses to include a relevant sales deck of the recent work carried out in their sector.

Step 2: An inbound brand awareness strategy, using the company’s LinkedIn page to provide thought leadership content and insights to establish credibility and drive passive engagement.

A strategy of asking existing connections to follow the page would help to drive more engagement on future company posts. This would, in turn, increase awareness of the brand without a typical ‘sales-led’ approach.

Campaign execution

Step 1:

To grow connections with industry decision makers, three different campaigns were set up using Dux-Soup Turbo:

One approach targeted and enrolled event exhibitors into a LinkedIn outreach campaign created with Dux-Soup.

The other two campaigns were executed against two different prospect lists, which were created in Sales Navigator. Prospects were then enrolled into the campaigns and managed from the Dux-Dash.

The campaigns created typically contained four automated actions:

  • A profile visit
  • A connection request
  • Two follow-up messages
  • Endorsing profiles

Step 2:

A fourth Dux-Soup campaign focussing on increasing Phoenix Studios company page followers was a simple, single message to connections, asking them to follow the company page. The messaging was tailored and personalized in a way that resonated with the connection or the business that was being targeted.

GA4 was set up to allow the business to track visitors to the website and understand how well the campaigns were working to attract traffic.

Results

Within three months, Phoenix Studios had secured over 100 new connections with high-quality decision makers in organizations that they were keen to work with.

The acceptance rate for LinkedIn connections increased considerably, and results showed that using more relevant, event-specific messaging would generate an even higher connection acceptance rate.

There was also a significant increase in users landing on sales deck content, showing an interest in the services offered by Phoenix Studios.

In addition, the company page followers increased from 395 to 1051, equating to 656 new followers over the 3 months, or over 7 new followers every day.

A simple strategy, automated by Dux-Soup, has resulted in a huge increase in followers in such a short space of time. And even better, many of our contacts re-engaged with us in the process, so old relationships have been revived.

By increasing the number of page followers, post engagement has also increased. Organic impressions have reached over 3400 impressions, with each post regularly achieving 500-1000 impressions instead of the previous 300-500.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with the results we’ve seen, but it’s clear we couldn't have achieved such high numbers in such a short space of time without the help of Dux-Soup.
