To get started Install Dux-Soup or upgrade your existing plan to Turbo/Cloud.

Installing the Dux-Soup connector for Freshsales

  • To install the Freshsales CRM integration, first, log into your Freshsales CRM and go to your Dux-Dash.
  • From the Dux-Dash, select ‘CRM Connections’ and the integration options will appear. Click on ‘Add Freshsales account’:

  • Enter your connection details into the pop-up box:

  • You can find your API key in Freshsales by selecting your details, then ‘Personal settings’

  • In the ‘Personal settings’ select the tab for the ‘API’ and from there you can copy both your ‘API key’ and ‘Your bundle alias’.

  • Once those details are entered into the Dux-Dash, the Freshsales Connector is added:

It’s as easy as that!

Creating and updating Freshsales contacts from LinkedIn

Once the connector is installed, you will see a drop-down menu with options. The default is “Create & update Contacts from connected profiles.” Dux-Soup will collect data and update your CRM with 1st-degree connections only.

During a campaign, the "Update Contact after Connecting" option ensures that whenever someone accepts your connection request and becomes a first-degree connection with a visible email, they are automatically added to your Freshsales account. This is a fantastic feature that works seamlessly behind the scenes.

Once you’ve decided on your options, let’s see what you can do with the contacts.

Executing Dux-Soup actions from Freshsales

You can trigger activities from within Freshsales using the Dux-Soup options to ‘Update’, ‘Message’, ‘Enroll’ or ‘Connect’ with contacts.

To 'Connect' with a contact, their LinkedIn URL must be in Freshsales. Keep this in mind when populating your CRM, especially if you're using other methods to add contacts.

The integration generates new fields in the CRM that dynamically link to LinkedIn, including the LinkedIn ID, LinkedIn profile and Account details. As long as the contact has an email address they will appear in the CRM.

Now you’re set up, if you want to get more people into your CRM you can start running your drip campaigns!

The power of Dux-Soup integrations

For businesses using LinkedIn automation, integrating Dux-Soup with your CRM system gives you visibility of the full interaction history with prospects over multiple channels, including LinkedIn. Now you can enjoy a 360-degree view of every prospect without important pieces of information being missed.

For sales teams, the ability to collaborate on prospecting (check out our Teams plan for shared campaigns and collaborative outreach), combined with centralised CRM intelligence, allows LinkedIn to become a fully integrated part of the marketing strategy rather than being a standalone activity.
